Our colleague Francesco Giannelli presented this great poster at #SMBE2026: Reconstructing the Bantu Expansion Through an Individual-Based Simulation His work uses SLiM forward-time simulations to jointly model genetic and linguistic evolution among Bantu-speaking populations. 🧬 🗣️ 💻
