Difficult to imagine anything else happening as long as empiricism rules supreme, but, yeah, it's nice to dream, isn't it
Show PostAbsolutely. I can understand tagging the established cognitive ontology as "wrong" in a sense though – in as much as its institutional reification leaves few opportunities for developing alternatives.
Show PostIf we worry that the established one might have lead us down the wrong paths in some systematic way, there's value in identifying alternatives, even if they themselves aren't "the right one(s)", isn't there?
