DeepSeek R1 chaos, Grok 3 topping some benchmarks, GPT-4.5/5 teased. 2025 is going to be a strong continued acceleration. OpenAI / Anthropic / Gemini no longer have a buffer in performance to take extended time for testing. They still lead, but by a shrinking margin.
