If one is planning on trying to reach a wider global audience and is formatting accordingly, I do think that's super neat. I wonder if other countries and their comics and zine cultures cultivate something similar and specific in formats and associations....

Like right to left panels and formatting for sizes that aren't available in ur region. Maybe I'm just zine brained where my mentality is working with what is most readily available even if it's limited.....

I get people wanting to make their comics or doujins as manga-like as possible, and I think there's usefulness to it if ur planning on translating/selling to an Asian audience...but if ur audience is primarily going to be the anglosphere I feel some of the trappings feel unnecessary 2 me...
