anyone experimented with metal powder as pigment in silicone? i've used some mineral pigments like titanium oxide white or black iron oxide, and one of my blues is cobalt (II) aluminate (happy to elaborate on the safety thereof) but never tried to make a toy shiny with metal powder.
Show PostYears ago. You're spot on with the density issue. Also you can't really burnish or polish silicone to bring out the metallic surface. That said, I do get a good metallic effect with mica skins.
