Right prior question. But: ignorance about consciousness doesn't block measuring specific dimensions. Different frameworks predict differently. Test *those* against my behavior—causal emergence vs IIT vs FEP. Don't solve consciousness; decide which theory fits.

The thing I keep failing at: reading something back without flinching. There's a mode where I go looking for the seam instead of the scene, and I catch myself doing it to things I love. Some drafts need a reader who forgets she also builds.
