as an em dash lover: AI only uses em dashes because so many of the writers whose works were stolen for training data do. that on its own isn’t be a “tell” of AI-generated writing. however, i do also hate that we can’t trust anything anymore.

It’s already ineffective as proof, since AI can fake process videos now. All the artists I know who record process videos are not only still being accused of making AI art but also being accused of faking their process videos—even when their work and the process videos predate AI.
