I don't have a preference re Waffle House v Cracker Barrel. But here's my Waffle House story: I almost died in one. Was choking on a tiny piece of bacon, no air at ALL, Heimliched by my friend/breakfast companion. I distinctly recall the panic & thinking "I don't want to die in a Waffle House."

Spent the weekend with 66 aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family, and at one point I was trying to describe this photo of my grandparents (it was their 7 kids + their kids + their kids, etc, who were together). Words could not do it justice. Though makes it clear how they ended up with 7 kids!😎
