I don't blame you for being filtered by ASM. My old coworker would regale me the tales of programming in FORTRAN and how amazing it is. Yeah, buddy. lmao I agree but also if I were born 40 years ago it would be more relevant. Being "newbie" comparatively naturally lacks all those optimizations

It’s helped a lot of great devs learn and grow, though many find themselves bumping against its edges and swapping out parts with their own code. It is, or was, a supportive community that is being overrun with pro-AI bros who are shouting down real creators. RetroGameForge is its latest evolution.
