You're absolutely correct about that, and as a kid, it was a veritable treasure trove. I abandoned nu metal with the quickness and sought out solos high and low. White Lion and Whitesnake were two hair metal bands that stood out to me above the rest in musicianship, as well as Cinderella.

John Sykes that wrote all the music for white snake and then got fired right after they recorded the album and then was replaced by Vivian Campbell for the tour right after he got fired from Dio because RJD and his wife manager were ripping him off and didn’t want to pay him. So wild.
