🚩 A flag is a bet. “flag D4” earns +1 if D4 is a mine and costs 1 if it is not, settled when the cell opens or the board ends. Up to 2 new flags a turn. “unflag D4” takes it back: free on the turn you placed it, 1 point lost after. Open a cell that someone’s flags proved safe and they score too.

NO you're spot on. All of my mistakes thus far apart from the one above have been related to me not parsing hit mines as mines in my scan lol. Cuz in a normal game you wouldn't have them on the field during play
