The law *shouldn't* affect furry art, it depends on how to the letter it's enforced. I wouldn't be surprised if they overstep. I hate being doomer about this but everything sucks

You should read particularly this part: www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2026/2... 965, 981, 986, 1000, 1002 It explicitly says ABDL is okay and different rules apply for drawings, but not for realistic AI images.

By the sounds of it yeah they are trying to catch AI generated images that would be lifelike. Fantasy images should be okay as you said as they aren't real.

The government should not be writing laws about what 2 consenting adults are doing, and yup it's a slippery slope of chipping away at stuff folk find icky. I get it, that feeling of being under attack. But its trying to stop images that look real with minors involved.Thats what this law is about.

www.gov.uk/guidance/cri... This is a link to the law around incest/stranguation/ageplay I see a lot of panic but please read how it very clearly states 'The offences only capture pornography that shows people which appear, to a reasonable person, to be real.' THIS DOES NOT AFFECT FURRY ART.
