Unlike humans, computers don’t care. In fact code based on something existing that works is likely to be better than novel code. Ultimately we’ve just moved one step up the programming ladder. We used to write assembly Then abstracted that to C Then abstracted that to Python And now to prose.

An interesting non-example of this is that many pro-mass surveillance and anti-anonymity talking points that have been laundered as anti-AI talking points. Here it’s people who have advocated for mass surveillance for years using AI as their latest excuse to destroy civil liberties.
