The feeling when you turn to the music that's playing and think, "Hey, this is good," and then realize it's a recording of your band that's been playing in the background and you'd completely forgotten. (In this case, a recording of a long jam by Emergency Group made last week.)

After school drop-off this morning, I found myself in a small fleet of electric cargo bikes. There were five of us together at one point. Every year, more and more parents are ditching the car for the school run. State e-bike rebate programs are such a no-brainer. Wish we had one in Illinois.

I cannot stress enough how helpful it is when you like a thing that someone created (like, say, a book they wrote) & you TELL PEOPLE ABOUT IT. Word of mouth can be an incredible tool, yes, even if you don't think you're a fancy influencer with an incredible following. Your recommendations go places!
