Luckily, the PCs escaped arrest/murder by the Paladins by opening a door to As Far From Here As Possible and jumping through, suddenly finding themselves at the base of Spire, cut off from their friends and with no easy way to vertically navigate the city.

They also were able to identify one of the Drow, immediately black bagged their only known accomplice, stuck a nuke in the accomplice's chest, and sent him down to where the other PCs were.

This worked. Technically a simple plan when you have the ear of the god in charge of gravity. However, due to some poor rolling, the Paladins spotted a pair of Drow falling up past their window and were there to arrest them.

One of my absolute favorite things about RPGs is watching the crazy plans PCs come up with unfold. Last night, @skellyton27.bsky.social and @fakeninja.bsky.social climbed outside the city, inverted gravity, and fell upspire since travel between city floors had been shut down.
