I hear you. My dining room table was my desk for several years while I was mostly remote. Now I'm not. Other stuff has found its way there. I try to tackle it sometimes, but there's so much crud; I feel lame asking my husband to help clear it off. I start to do it but get a bit overwhelmed.

Kid3 just cheerfully agreed to hand down his U11 baseball bat to a kid from a financially-pressured home, saying "I'd love to help someone else get into the sport" The kids are alright and don't let anyone tell you different
