For example, my mic is on tracks 1 and 2 while the game sound is on tracks 1 and 3. My alerts are on tracks 1 and 4 and so on and so forth. This gives more control over volume of each audio source and makes it easier to isolate a specific track if needed.

I record it in OBS so it’s already synced up with the video. As someone else mentioned, you can put things on separate tracks. For livestream purposes, everything needs to be on track 1. Then put individual things also on a different track.
