why is it not enough that vulnerable people must give up their rights for the greater good? why must they also accept their own sacrifice quietly and graciously? ask yourself if you would be so forgiving if you were the one expected to suffer for the greater good

I told my students yesterday I refuse to let them engage with a technology which is so dangerous that it seduces you into dangerous dependencies but also these very unhealthy ‘relationships’ that destroy your existing family and community and work lives
