I still can’t erase the images of all our mail sorting machines being hauled off to scrap metal yards in 2020, so up to the pick up level I’m sure intentions are good, but it seems the fuckery is designed to happen further down the pipeline.

I'm in MI too. Got my absentee ballot, filled it out, and returned it to the township hall's drop box. Didn't even want to test any USPS fuckery.
