something that is funny I thought about today: I try very hard to keep my IRL life and my online life seperate. there are a very small number of people who know about who I am online who also have interacted with me IRL. with one wierd bubble of exception: everyone who works at a nearby LGS.

One of the game stores in my area doesnt have an online ordering system. Instead they have an offical store discord and they just ask people to DM them the cards they are looking for, allowing you to pick them up later (no seriously, its wild).

And they keep the cards set aside, organized by discord username. so like I very regularly have to go in and be like "Yeah, Im picking up an order of cards I messaged you about earlier. It should be under Elliotte_D."

I dont think any of them do follow me or would even think to look me up, but its still funny. Like, Ive been going there for years and I just have to give them the name I draw furry porn as regularly, and they are some of the only people who actually interact with me regularly and know that name.
