If the dems chose a different candidate at their convention next month, that candidate would appear, printed on the ballot as the Democratic nominee, in every state except Ohio, unless they find a fix for that.

Friend. I’ve worked in politics for 20 years. I have a political science degree. I’ve been a DNC delegate. Major parties have separate deadlines. You are reading it incorrectly. The deadlines you’re citing are for the party primary.
