for candlewick it could literally be a class or chores the PCs have to do - use it so that each player has to make a skill check and maybe show off some of the game mechanics like relationships and conflicts
Show PostBe sure to run some tutorial encounters at first so players get used to the game mechanics - how to make a skill check etc. Play up the NPCs. Ham it up. Really listen to the players and give them what they want. Whatever gets them excited in the game, lean into that.
