All of those specialized server GPUs, all those GP200s from Nvidia, could have been useful cards. Even the RTX PRO 6000 is more useful than racks of these dedicated "AI" accelerators, and there's likely far fewer of them than there are Nvidia's custom blade servers.

This means that the increased price of RAM and consumer electronics was a result of an artificial "supply chain crisis" created by Jensen Huang pushing NVIDIA's customers to take early delivery of GPUs. Jensen Huang is responsible for making life worse for everyone.

interesting to note a slight wording difference between the cancellation announcement that was datamined from the game a few hours in advance and the actual one that went up ("the visas necessary to enter the US were denied" got changed to the more passive "we were unable to obtain...")
