i kinda miss guessing passwords dhjdhdk there isn't much hbr there but one poipiku-only art i still can't forget is a relatively tame sketch by a ruka oshi of yuki with her hands tied up, along with the caption "why do i end up harboring feelings for my oshi's wife that i don't have for my oshi?" 😭

wait no i have. but i think it's more common for artists to use a locked account

reminds me that some people post nsfw art to just poipiku so that they have more control over it. i haven't seen that in hbr fandom though...

it's uncommon in en spaces but there are jp fans who do post fics on just social media! i think they have a formatting site that makes it easier but i also know of writers who post to only privatter. and when artists try their hand at writing, they treat it like a rough sketch & post on social media

only 2-3 times a year as comiket/key island doujinshi. and yeah the artists who do post are indeed more active on social media than pixiv since many of them are not japanese. especially in 2024, my main source of fanart was lofter lol
