Y’all gotta reflect on why you constantly tell Black people “this example from over 60 years ago says this guy is good on race” & think about why you never have a modern example. He has said this may be his last term, but refiled for 2030 Senate re-election back in January, when he’ll be 89 years old. Though you don’t call for him to be primaried. He is a member of relevant committees but not calling for hearings. He has voted for many things he badmouths others for backing.

He had to be talked out of primarying Obama. He stayed in his 1st run for months after he mathematically lost. You trashed actual civil rights icons in his name. You ramped up the harassment in his second run & routinely & grotesquely threaten conditional allyship if anyone points out poor behavior.
