Oh, right. A city in California. Of course, Washington has lots of Red cities, too. LOTS of them! I used to live in them. I grew up in Wenatchee - well, East Wenatchee, which is just across the Columbia from Wenatchee. Then 40 years in Spokane, which is practically a sister city to Coeur d'Alene, ID

I live in Seattle now. I was born in Iowa City during a blizzard in March. Moved to Wenatchee, WA, from Des Moines, IA. Lived in Seattle after high school, moved to NYC for a decade, to Spokane for four decades & now back in Seattle. My husband & daughter died in Spokane. My son lives near here.
