I’ll restate. Trump cannot name what he doesn’t own and, by trying to rename Lake Ontario, he is making the covert claim of ownership, just like he said he would (see NYT article below) Trump is making a grab for our water by trying to annex Lake Ontario and surely we understand this. #Canada

Prime Minister Carney went out of his way to negotiate a trade deal with gangsters. He held Team Canada together despite the constant insults from the MAGA gang. Canada will go more than the extra mile to find common ground but we will never bow and kiss the gangster's ring. We hold the line.

Good for Carney and Canada, standing up for themselves. The US trade war demand is essentially “let us bully you into subservience.” Appeasement doesn’t work. What a stupid, self-harming effort by the US. Took one of the most productive, mutually beneficial alliances in history and threw it away.
