I am worried that we are seeing an epidemic of malignant narcissists. Who else wouldn't die of embarrassment knowing that someone knew that they thought such things - much less post those thoughts online?

Reading to children isn't a "sometimes" activity. It's every day. It's multiple times a day. It is a fundamental task of parenting. The fact that there is not one, but apparently many tech buffoons trying to wriggle their way out of this basic responsibility is frankly enraging. Their poor kids.

Do we really need to explain to people that it is really, REALLY important to read to young children? Like, you, personally, need to read to your child - your voice, your face, your hand gestures, your lap, your arms, your closeness. What kind of parent doesn't know this in their bones?
