One of the brutalities of modern parenting is the (entirely reasonable) “no school/nursery for 48 hours after vomiting” rule. It normally plays out: - Child is sick overnight (parent gets not much sleep) - Child is full of beans by the morning; no lying on the sofa - Two full days with no school 😱
