The article puts emphasis on that she """confessed""" to doing so, meaning that that confession itself is suspect bc it was given under torture. She likely didn't actually do said "inventive way to kill him" she might have came up with it on the fly to get the torture to stop.

Hardly the first to say this, but the concept of the nuclear family is also the locus of fascism.
