Hot take: people who advocate bicycles as THE big solution for everything irk me. Yes, we need bike (and pedestrian) safe roadways. Yes, we should design and redesign communities to be less car-dependent. But a bike won't work for someone like me who has foot joint issues + persistent vertigo.
