Which is all wind up to say: why isn't *he* upset about the bad results? At this point, you can claim his approach has failed too. Why won't he join me in suggesting that browsers need to intervene, set stricter budgets, and warn users away from heavy sites?

For all of his gifts, Ryan picked those who made life harder for users, assuming that the problem was the JS-industrial-complex didn't know what I was saying. In time, that was falsified, even for him: they understood, but didn't care. Yet he still gives cover.
Show PostI like Ryan and think he's well intentioned. At the same time, he has provided air-cover for folks who serially polluted the digital ecosystem for those less well-off, and was happy to dismiss me, no matter how much quiet work I did in the background *before* raising my voice publicly.
