Okay, internet, for once I am soliciting recommendations. I love me some metal. I am also hard of hearing. Concerts turn into a meaningless roar. But if I know the lyrics, it’s great because I recognize what I’m listening to. I grew up in the 80s and 90s. Give me your classic rock metal covers.

thats very true. i feel like this is exactly what gripped me so much. there's a deep sense of compassion in the mistborn books. i dont know how exactly to describe or pinpoint it, but i feel it. thank you! & thank you for all the info, its been rly helpful! (and has saved me from skipping elantris)
