We should not be teaching the idea that our emotions or emotional responses are bad, are weaknesses, or unworthy. We shouldn't be promoting the idea that your ideal thinker uses nothing but cold logic. Our emotions tell us the truth a lot of the time. This may have some relevance to recent events.
