So predictable of social media. i try to make one actual helpful, meaningful post, and almost instantly get replies from random unserious tryhards looking to get a cheap joke into someone else's replies. It sucks that no one seems to know how to be genuine on the internet anymore

Just caught myself thinking "why isn't my piano louder!?" while referencing it with Noisia and Space Laces' amount of loudness - artists that historically don't use a whole lot of piano. Think I need to stop thinking about loudness and start prioritising dynamics for certain instruments again lmao

今は「面白いから作る」「誰かの役に立つから公開する」「失敗しても別に構わない」「自分自身を表現したい」という趣味に適した環境があります。そこに価格が付くことが一般化すれば、「売れるか」「価格に見合うか」という基準も入り込んできます。私は個々の販売行為を悪だと言いたいのではないし、権利的によくないからそれを悪だと断じる立場でもありません。ただ単に、その変化によって独自の情熱を持った、今ある創作環境を失うリスクを取りたくない、という、ただそれだけの理由で反対しています。

そんなことを書いたのだから、私の考えを書いておきます。収益化には反対です。 私が問題にしているのは、制作者に報酬を得る権利があるかどうかではありません。個人単位で見れば、対価を求めることについては当然理解できます。ただ、コミュニティのルールとして収益化を普通のものとして受け入れた場合、制作に対するインセンティブや期待値まで変わるものかと思います。
