Reupping another oldie but a goodie. How common are things like public transport in your world and what methods, if any, exist? Are there any that may be unique to your world such as travel via submarine or some form of sentient creature like the cat bus of ghibli fame 🤣 #TTRPGQuestion #ttrpg

Run a one-shot first. Take a week or two learning the system. Let your players know it's a new game and you are still learning it, so you might make a mistake here or there. I'm sure your players will understand.

PF might be D20, but it's different enough that you can't think of it the same as D&D. Things are swingier. It's more well-balanced than 5e. Through the preconceptions out and look at it with a fresh set of eyes. If you're planning on moving a current game over, don't do that yet.

Outside of that, I don't play PF, but I have learned about a dozen systems and written 2 of them. (one published, the other currently in process.) Most of the issue is going to be in your head and breaking patterns of balance.
