I got my COVID & flu shots this morning. Incredibly disappointed to be one of only a handful wearing a mask. And I saw at least a hundred people in that clinic - some not well. If people aren't taking preventative measures now, one of these years a variant will return and do 1918-20 level damage.

All my physicians and specialists are in the same large medical practice. My primary physician is the only office where staff mask. My pulmonologist nor cardiologist offices don't. When I go to my hematologist, there is a sign in the waiting room saying masks are to be worn. It is not enforced.

H1N1 is a nasty little thing from the notorious 1918 pandemic and when authorities cared about that, people went to jail for not masking. Somehow humans also made Smallpox extinct. What happened to that can-do attitude? Flu B-Yamagata went extinct during lockdowns. It’s doable
