Cream of the Crop exhibit at the Minnesota Institute of Art is open now and runs through November 29. 30 of the 594 MN State Fair Crop Art entries were selected for this display (two of them mine). #cropart #mnstatefair #mnartist #mia #twineball
Show PostRIP, Dolly Parton. On the final day of the fair—I brought the unfinished piece to share with people waiting in the long lines. While I might experiment with soaking and curling wheat shafts in the future, she will likely remain unfinished as I do not have plans to submit this next year.

I went to Mia and saw amazing crop art last night! The exhibit runs through Nov. 29, in the hallway back behind the cafe. Not as cool as the rotunda last year, but there are more pieces on display—about 20. This squirrel remains one of my favorites: @goingwrong.bsky.social

I'm reasonably sure that my life has peaked as of today, the opening of Deviant Crop Art.
Show Post"Sorry I was late, I was hanging Crop Art nudes" was not an excuse I was prepared to use today. I just went with an "appointment" excuse.
