I think a lot of people on all social media can be nasty. After my mom passed imgur seemed a nice community then one day someone posted about it only being 100 days to Halloween and I half jokingly posted I was dreading it due to not being able to afford to heat my house

I got a barrage of abuse about how I deserved it as I was probably a Trump supporter. I’m not even American, my winter heating bill has went from £50 to £140 a monthand I’d just lost my dad so was paying the bills on my own. In short its too easy to be nasty to someone online
