Postu gösterIf we take the 25 US counties that are at least 75% Latino and weight by 2024 ballots, they swung THIRTY-SEVEN POINTS left. Hard to wrap your head around that.
Postu gösterFar be it from me to make strong predictions, but I do find myself wondering whether ICE over the past 2 years will have the same effect of party-consolidation for Latinos that the 1964 CRA and 1965 VRA had for Black voters. Black voters went back-and-forth between the parties pre-1960s!
Postu gösterLike this is truly bonkers. Starr County, TX, is 97% Latino. In 2024, it was Trump +16. This week, it went for the Democratic House candidate at +58. That's a *74 point swing*
