If anyone is curious, this X-ray image was taken shortly after my first surgery in 2024. My vertebrae started growing bone spurs that ended up pushing the artificial discs into my spinal cord. My most recent (4th) surgery removed them and fused them to the two below that were already fused.

I'm grateful to the person who donated tissue upon their death that was later used as part of a bone graft during my spinal fusion surgery on Friday. I think that technically makes me part robit and part zomble 🤖🧟 I hope I can assimilate the tissue without issue

I'm going to be stuck in a neck brace for at least 12 weeks post-surgery (until New Years'), so I picked up an orthopedic pillow set... or as I call it, a pillow fort. Also grabbed a fleece Star Trek robe for maximum comfort while recovering.
