Ended up 74 out of 136 in my division (Minnesota Nice) and 33 out of 61 for the rookies. Really amazing time solving puzzles and meeting new people, including Eric Agard! I’ll definitely be back in the future and might even try the ACPT in 2027. Really well run event! #midwestgridfest

Had a great time at my first Midwest Crossword Tournament in Chicago this weekend! I finished 35th out of all the rookies, 78th in my division. I aced 4 out of the 5 puzzles, and have decided to ban gimmick puzzles (bane of my existence) once elected president. #MidwestGridfest
