Yes. Additionally, the protests of the Hanuman statute in Houston are infuriating and now scary—plus the Bo French tweet about the UT game and the H1B crackdowns. The desis who went Trump were mostly not self-loathers, so I think all of this is shocking them

That makes sense, it's obviously very scary! It just seems like though there's been a lot of coverage of Indian-Americans in Texas, the media seems to forget that the texas community isn't isolated and has friends and relatives in other states. Most obviously swing states GA and NC

Anecdotally, but I think it’s representative, every Hindu I know is extremely frightened by the Aurora incident and it is occurring during festival season (Navaratri and then Diwali) I think it will impact how they vote
