I just don't subscribe to the idea that doing things "out of love" means that they can't be, you know, wrong. Or that tryig to do your best means you actually did your best. Sometimes we fail as parents and acting like you don't/should never be questioned is toxic af.

Parenting is hard af but the bare minimum is trying your best and owning your mistakes. And frankly I think it's better to be hard on ourselves and strive to be better than just shrug and act like "trying your best" absolves every fuck up.
