I will try. I've got 5 pretty empty days to get through till Mon so I'll be glad of online company. After Mon I have no idea what happens. I can't drive because I have diazepam to take. And anyway, there's nowhere to go. But I'll stick around till Mon. Ty.

… and from me too I would think you are already exhausted beyond exhaustion, without Monday, and without driving back to your flat. If you can bear it, can you do a shop with simple or ready meals, and the basic bread/milk/whatever? Then just sleep and eat, for as long as it takes xx

My advice for what it’s worth is to return to the flat afterwards and sleep for as long as it takes for you to feel human again. Things will be easier (as well as more difficult) without Diesel but rest is probably top of the agenda.

A sad last beach walk on a grey rainy day. We went to a quiet little cove where he could potter round. He's gone downhill a lot very quickly in the past week or so. Vet appointment booked for Mon. Heading north tomoro to be closer to vet over the weekend, just in case. It's definitely time.
