The East Thurrock United badge, featuring Thomas Baker of the nearby village of Fobbing. On 30th May 1381, Baker led a group of villagers in refusing to pay the tax collector, sparking the Peasants' Revolt. The rebels marched on London in an armed uprising. Baker was hanged, drawn, and quartered.
Show Post1973 was a good year for Ararat Yerevan. They became Soviet domestic champions for the first time and the Soviet Cup, consigning Dinamo Kiev to second place in both competitions. They're the only club from Armenia to win both competitions, breaking the domination held by Moscow and Kyiv.
