One of my sincere theories as to why northwest TN, western KY, southern IL, and southeast/eastern MO were basically deserted even before Columbus, and have been generally miserable places ever since, despite being some of the most fertile land on the planet: Mound 72 at Cahokia
Show PostI think all cities have ghosts, but it would be hard for an individual ghost/entity/energy to haunt an entire city. If a terrible thing happened to many people at once, it might leave a shadow of the collective trauma, though.
