5th stop in Gent = Dolfijn. Wow. Just wow. Bar of the day so far, by a country mile. Needless to say I was first in at 4pm, gorgeous place, fantastic ambience & a really well chosen list of c.35-ish beers. Owner is so welcoming & friendly. Top place.
Show Post4th stop in Gent = Hot Club Gent. Good to be back, it's been ages. Still c.40 beers on a list not dissimilar to Bar Lume. Ambience probably better later but needs must!
Show Post3rd stop in Gent = Bar Lume, Vrijdagmarkt (nr Dulle Griet). This is more like it: cosy jazz bar, I believe previously the bar for Hot Club Gent? (per GBGB9). 35 beers on better than average list; lovely ambience despite me being the only customer! Top marks for excellent inclusion statement 👏
