I want to share a DnD thing I came up with that some DMs out there might find useful. I place every combat encounter into one of these three categories: 1. Rule of Cool 2. By the Books 3. Skirmish And I tell the players which one I’m using when rolling initiative.

I get that, I truly do. It’s such an underrated scene to be in. And i’m not sure how you’d feel about the other more story driven point and click sort of games, but just. Its kinda disappointing because it started off /so good/ My husband was saying how Bloodhunt was a better depiction at this rate
