I'm thrilled with a Zubimendi signing. He's always been near the top of my stuff, and (sorry) midfield was my top priority with Jorginho gone & Partey hopefully next. There's an "appeal to authority" bias, but if Xabi, Xavi, Arteta, and Michael Edwards all adore a midfielder, you can feel good.

I do find it so funny that the Guard of Honour was absolutely not a thing people cared about, till RVP got given one at the Emirates. Now it is such a big thing and another thing people points score with lol

Yeah you’re right. It is very Arsenal to build this incredible team, still to be a few pieces away. Almost like the early to mid 2010s “only if we signed a DM” etc

Glad to see the Lewis Skelly red is being roundly condemned but we can’t treat it as a black swan event or a one off aberration. Webb is trying to create a culture of referees being stars and it needs to stop and it needs to be called out.

The problem for Arsenal (in my humble opinion) has never been that Ødegaard doesn’t create enough chances. It’s that no one else in the Arsenal team does.
